Description

This pair of handcrafted Native American style dolls features traditional buckskin attire adorned with intricate glass beadwork. The larger 14″ doll showcases a light tan dress with a multi-colored beaded yoke and geometric “wave” patterns, while the 13″ doll is dressed in a darker sienna outfit with blue and red accents. Both figures are constructed with cloth bodies, hand-painted or beaded faces, and black yarn braids. Undergarments reveal a detailed layered construction of felt over muslin, which is characteristic of higher-quality mid-century folk art or souvenir craftsmanship. The dolls are in good vintage condition overall, with expected light surface soiling to the hide and minor fraying of the yarn hair. H 14″, W 6.5″, D 3″ & H 13″, W 6″, D 3″. Please see photos.
