Description

This lot features two hand-woven textiles showcasing classic Native American Navajo-style regional patterns. The larger weaving features a striking eye-dazzler or serrated diamond motif rendered in bold magenta, dark brown, grey, and cream wool. The smaller textile displays an elongated double-diamond geometric pattern in brown, coral, mint green, and cream. Both pieces exhibit traditional flat-weave construction using hand-spun wool yarns. Condition is fair to good overall; the larger rug shows significant wear to the edges and corners with frayed selvedges, structural damage including a hole near the upper center border, and some color bleeding in the white fields. The smaller weaving remains in better condition with minor edge fraying and light surface wear. Larger: W 39″, L 65″ Smaller: W 17″, L 36″. Please see photos for condition.
