Description
This collection from the Wabash, Indiana area includes 16 projectile points and one fragment of a point or scraper. The assembly features a variety of lithic styles, including corner-notched, side-notched, and stemmed points, appearing to range from the Archaic to Woodland periods. Materials consist of regional cherts and flints in shades of charcoal, tan, and grey, showcasing various pressure-flaking techniques. The items are housed in a wooden display case featuring a sliding plexiglass window. Most pieces remain intact with surface patination and minor edge wear consistent with age, though one tan point has a notable lateral crack that has been repaired and one grey specimen is a partial fragment.
