Description
This late-1890s brown wax cylinder from the Columbia Phonograph Co. featuring a xylophone solo of “One Heart, One Mind” by the renowned pioneer recording artist Charles P. Lowe. Molded from a delicate brown metallic-soap wax compound, this early cylinder comes accompanied by its original printed paper title slip. The cylinder remains in good, stable condition, showing light surface residue and minor handling wear consistent with its age, but is entirely free of any cracks, chips, or major breaks.
