Description
Brown wax cylinder record most likely an early private home recording with an intriguing handwritten paper insert reading “Albert (Baby) #1 when 5 days old.” The brown wax cylinder has a prominent, deep vertical crack running down the top half, as well as some surface degradation and cloudiness typical of early wax formulations. The paper slip is toned with a torn bottom edge. H 4.5″, W 2.75″, D 2.75″. Please see photos for condition. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
