Description

This rare, early 20th-century “Talking Machine Supplies” trade catalog (No. 500) was originally distributed by the Iver Johnson Sporting Goods Co. of Boston, Massachusetts, featuring a comprehensive wholesale inventory of phonograph parts, horn stands, cranes, and specialized audio accessories from the golden age of mechanical music. This specific example served as a foundational master copy used by famed phonograph historian Allen Koenigsberg for his historic “facsimile publication number 14″ reissue in 1973, making it an incredible piece of phono-history provenance. The physical item shows significant age-related wear, including a loose front cover, a heavy brown adhesive or lacquer stain spanning the back pages, minor edge fraying, and multiple instances of vintage white-out editorial corrections applied directly to the internal text blocks and back cover illustration, but remains complete. H 3.5″, W 6″, D 0.25”. Please see photos for condition. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
