The Allen Koenigsberg Phonograph Collection
Lot 3470:
Description
This exceptional grouping captures the golden age of early recorded sound, headlined by two substantial Columbia Records paper catalogs dating to 1921 and 1925, origin Bridgeport, Connecticut. Accompanying the catalogs are two promotional double-disc record brochures (one dated October) highlighting prominent artists of the era alongside illustrations of Grafonola players, and an alphabetized, green faux-leather Lazare record indexing log book with a gold gilt musical note emblem on the cover. These ephemera items display expected signs of age including minor edge wear, light toning, occasional surface smudges, and small corner creases, though they remain structurally intact and complete. H 7″, W 5″, D 0.5″. Please see photos for condition. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
