The Allen Koenigsberg Phonograph Collection
Lot 3422:
Description
An excellent, early 20th-century piece of phonograph history, this original “Repair Parts of Edison Amberola Phonographs” manual was published by Thomas A. Edison, Inc. in Orange, New Jersey. As seen in image.png, the cover features the famous Thomas A. Edison trademark script and identifies it as a reference for cylinder phonographs. Inside, the October 1914 manual (Form 2727F) features highly detailed, illustrated mechanical breakdowns and replacement pricing for internal components like the Edison Amberola B-VI top mechanism and motor frame parts. The paper manual shows light surface soiling, minor edge wear, and faint creasing consistent with age and shop use, but retains its original two-grommet binding and presents in very good, clean condition overall with fully legible text and diagrams. H 9.25″, W 6″, D 0.25″. Please see photos for condition. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
