Description
A collection of (11) original 1910s Edison Amberol Records and Blue Amberol Records paper supplements, monthly announcements, and inserts manufactured by Thomas A. Edison, Inc. in Orange, New Jersey. The collection includes lists for “Royal Purple Amberol Records” and monthly “Special Records” announcements dating from 1918 and 1919, featuring portrait artwork of Thomas Edison. The reverse sides feature local dealer stamps from “James Rigby, Phonographs & Bicycles” of Downham, UK. The lot exhibits natural age-related paper toning, minor edge wear, and a few light creases, though each piece is complete with no significant tears or loss of paper. H 6″, W 3 1/2″, D 0.1″.
