The Allen Koenigsberg Phonograph Collection
Lot 3408:
Description
This lot features two early 20th-century paper advertisements for “New Edison Moulded Records” from the National Phonograph Company of Orange, New Jersey. Dating to January 1903, these rare ephemera pieces boast beautiful, vibrant Art Nouveau style borders, intricate lithograph portrait graphics of Thomas Edison and a young girl, and historical track lists detailing early wax cylinder releases. Both pieces exhibit moderate edge wear, light creasing, and minor surface soiling consistent with age, though the colors and text remain remarkably crisp and legible. H 6.25″, W 7″, D 0.01″. Please see photos for condition. From the Allan Koenigsberg collection.
