Description

These three early 20th-century Edison record booklets represent a golden age of phonograph marketing by the National Phonograph Co. of Orange, New Jersey. The collection features an “Edison Records American Selections” booklet, an “Edison Gold Moud Records American Selections” catalog, and an “Edison Phonograph Records” booklet, each printed on paper with tight bindings and containing a complete set of internal pages listing available cylinders of the era. The covers showcase iconic portragraphics of Thomas A. Edison, with the Gold Moulded booklet notably featuring a purple stamped dealer mark from “J.F. Kilham Bicycle Dealer” out of Beverly, Massachusetts on its back cover. Objectively, the pieces show authentic age-related wear inuding surface dirt, mild staining, minor edge scuffs, and fading, though they remain remarkably intact with tight findings and fully legible pages.
