The Allen Koenigsberg Phonograph Collection
Lot 3346:
Description
Quarter sawn oak phonograph cylinder record cabinet, dating to the early 1900s, with five drawers fitted with their original wooden pegs designed to hold 24 cylinders per drawer. The piece features classic period details, including ornate cast brass pull handles, decorative carved trim moldings along the edges, and molded appliqués on the side panels. Structurally, all drawers open and close properly. The cabinet retains a beautiful, untouched original patina, though it exhibits minor surface scratches and localized finish wear. Notably, the back portion of the left rear leg has split cleanly away but is fully complete and ready for an easy glue repair, and there is a small chip on the foot of the front left leg. H 36″, W 21.5″, D 18″. Please see photos for condition. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection. Note: Pickup/Transport required. Contacts available Post-Auction.
