Description
This Maidu oval “boat” basket, circa 1940s, is tightly woven with what looks to be a letter “H” on the end with triangular elements on the sides and other end. Their baskets are traditionally woven using materials like Willow red bud and sedge root. Dimensions: 4” long x 2.25” wide x 1.25” tall.
