Description
Maidu Degikup basket circa 1930. It features a round walled design with a meandering band of opposed Arrowhead patterns characterized by triangles at the corners of the zigzag band. Maidu baskets particularly from this. Are known for their fine weave and intricate design. Small break observed near rim.75 inches in length, otherwise in excellent condition. Dimensions: 5” at widest, rim diameter 3.5”. 3” tall and 3” base diameter. See photos.
