Description
Hand carved and painted wood Hahai-Wuuti Kachina doll, also known as Kachina Mother or Grandmother Kachina is traditionally given to Hopi babies during their first year. Rectangular body with flat stylized face painted with simple features. Body painted with geometric patterns and teal, yellow, black and red on a white background. These colors and patterns hold symbolic meaning within the Hopi culture. With attached tag describing it and written “Made by Michael Lomatmama”. Dimensions: 5.5”x2.5”x 1”. See photos.
