Description
This Apache Tus water vessel circa 1930s, shows a rich dark brown hue and textured surface indicative of its traditional construction using plant fibers and pine pitch coating. The vessel has a wide slightly uneven mouth and a rounded body that tapers to a narrow base. The woven pattern of the underlying basketwork is visible on this vessel. Dimernsions:10” tall x 9” wide at waist x 7.5” rim diameter x 6” base diameter. See photos.
