Description

A clean Standard Products M1 Carbine with serial number 2125100, manufactured between September 1943 and January 1944. A lesser know company among the 13 total companies that produced carbines during World War II, they produced 247,160 of the over 6 million produced. This particular carbine displays the manufacture name, “STD PRO.” with the serial number “2125100” on the receiver. It has a Type 3 barrel band with bayonet lug marked with “AMCO”. The barrel displays no manufacture markings or date and the gas cylinder was machined integral. The rear sight is the later Type 3 stamped version with “I.R.C.O.” marking. The two-piece wood stock is matching and in good condition, showing minor wear. A high-pressure proof stamp is viable on the pistol grip. Barrel is clean and the rifling is still prominent. The trigger and action are tight and function properly. No oxidation is visible on the metal parts. The rifle does not come with a magazine. This is a nice carbine, with what appears to be post war upgrades. Please see photos for overall condition.
