Cal./Size: 1 ?-inches in diameter and 3 ?-inches high. Color: Light blue with white markings. Manufacturer: Unknown Country of Origin: United States Trainer: Yes. Cutaway: Yes. Long Description: The full cutaway shows the projectile and cartridge case. The orange section simulates the bright orange powdered dye that is expelled on impact to mark the point. The case is plastic and has no headstamp. Markings on both the case and projectile are not legible. A corner of the case rim has been chipped off. The round was glued to a board at one point and remnants of the glue and board are on the rear of the projectile. 2) Item Description: 40x46mm dummy cartridge. Type Designator/Model: M406 inert loaded. Cal./Size: 1 ?-inches in diameter and 3 ?-inches high. Color: Black and light green with white and light blue markings. Manufacturer: Picatinny Arsenal Country of Origin: United States Trainer: Yes. Long Description: The aluminum head is black. Traces of a light green anodized surface are on the body. The markings on the body are partially worn off and not all legible. The markings in white are “FUZE PROJ M406; LOT PA-E-55022”. The markings in light blue are “40 MM INERT LOADED DUMMY”. There is no headstamp on the light brown anodized aluminum cartridge case. Stenciled in black on the case is “40MM M118 RNO-5-410-67”.
