There are no markings on the one-piece projectile. Some of the gold paint is missing due to handling. The headstamp on the cartridge case is “CASE CARTRIDGE M169; GIE 3-4 65”. Manufacturer: Unknown Country of Origin: United States Trainer: Maybe. Long Description: There are no markings on the projectile. The cartridge case is gold in color and headstamped “40MM XM169E2; 64 HA 3”. The projectile is loose in the case. Vietnam War era.
