Long Description: This is a practice cartridge using the same orange micro dust the U.S. uses in the M781 practice round. For some reason, unknown only to the person who did it, the forward end of the fired projectile has been cut off. This exposes an aluminum surface with traces of orange dye. Markings on the projectile are “40MM X 46; PRAC. CARTRIDGE; IMPACT SIGN; produced: 02/94”. The headstamp on the cartridge case is “40 x 46”. 2)Item Description: 40x46mm ground marker, green smoke cartridge.Type Designator/Model: M715. Cal./Size: 1 ?-inches in diameter and 3 ?-inches high. Color: Very light green Manufacturer: Unknown Country of Origin: United States Trainer: maybe. Long Description: The projectile has been fired and re-seated in the cartridge case. Small amounts of green paint are visible on the nose of the projectile. There are no markings on the projectile. Stenciled in black on the side of the case is “LOT MA-78G011-008” and ”40MM M118 CAN-11-16-3-75. There is no headstamp on the case. 3) Item Description: 40x46mm training practice cartridge.
