The Allen Koenigsberg Phonograph Collection
Lot 3384:
Description
An original 1902 Fall Season record catalog booklet published by the National Phonograph Co. for Edison Moulded Records. The cover features a prominent “Correction” block explaining their transition on July 25th, 1902, from standard wax to the “New Process” molded cylinders. The interior pages contain organized release lists for August and September, featuring early bands, comic songs, and instrumental solos. This light-green paper booklet is an example of turn-of-the-century audio marketing. The piece is in antique condition; the pages remain crisp with clean text, and the stapled binding is intact with minor, age-appropriate oxidation and light edge wear near the staples. H 6″, W 3 1/2″, D 0.1″. Please see photos for condition. From the Allan Koenigsberg collection.
