Description
This delightful Victorian-style table collection features a lovely 6-piece porcelain vanity or tea set boasting vibrant pink roses, deep cobalt blue borders, and elegant gold-gilt accenting. The assembly includes a teapot with a matching lid, a footed creamer, a small footed trinket bowl, an oval serving plate, and a shell-molded footed dish. Highlighted in this group is an additional white ribbed porcelain teapot featuring a built-in wind-up music box mechanism that plays beautifully. Accompanying the porcelain is a classic, late 19th-to-early 20th-century Victorian quadruple-plated silver teapot with a hinged lid, manufactured by the historic Van Bergh Silver Plate Co. of Rochester, New York (marked style “25” on the base). Physically, the set presents beautifully with expected light scuffs, minor gilt wear, and typical surface oxidation on the silverplate. A bit of minor wear is present on the inner rim of the musical teapot, but all pieces remain structurally sound, free of notable cracks, and physically intact. Teapot (Silver): H 8.5″, W 9″, D 5″.
