Vintage Maritime Binnacle Compass, used on ships and boats to house and protect a magnetic compass, brass helmet-shaped dome protects internal compass card from harsh weather, flip up glass port at the top, compass sits on a gimbaled suspension mechanism, small vent holes to allow heat and smoke to escape if a light source is placed in the chamber, glass is cracked on compass, age-related wear, good condition, see photos. 6″ tall
