Description
1930s DeWitt Clinton Passenger Locomotive aka The 1st American Passenger Train. This mechanical scale model of the wood-burning DeWitt Clinton steam engine locomotive and three passenger coaches, comprised primarily of painted wood, tin and brass. Presents well and in good overall condition with some age and wear related cosmetic imperfections including some discoloration and scratches. Locomotive 3.5″t x 3.5″l with minor paint loss / scratches paint, wheels are locked, Wood carrying car VG with minor discoloration 2.5″t x 3″l, Passenger cars each show “MHR RCo” and the appropriate car number painted on each door and showcase roof racks; approximately 2.5″t x 3.75″l. No.1 VG with discoloration; No. 2 G with 2 of the 4 shocks attached with discoloration, No. 3 G with no shocks attached with discoloration along with (7) assorted figurines. Some of the accessory pieces are no longer attached. Hard to come by collection set !! Perfect addition to your collection, please use photos to judge condition and bid accordingly.
