Lot 2485:
Description
This charming early 20th-century micro-beaded purse features an intricately etched silver-tone metal frame adorned with floral sunflower motifs. The beadwork displays a classic geometric pattern in shades of cobalt, sky blue, and amber against a stark white field, characteristic of the Victorian or Edwardian transition period. The piece includes its original metal snake chain handle. While the frame remains structurally sound with a lovely aged patina, there is visible wear to the thread connecting the beadwork to the frame in several sections, and some minor bead loss is present at the edges. H 5.5″, W 4.5″, D 0.5″ Please see photos.
