Lot 2471:
Description
A nice example of a Spanish variation of the Colt Model 1896, double action, revolver. The revolver features the classic swing-out 6-shot cylinder and has a 5.25” round barrel chambered in .32 caliber. The wood grips have a checked pattern, and the frame is set up from a lanyard ring, generally used for police or military service. The steel frame shows a dark patina throughout, and the grips show wear from use. The bore shows light freckling, however the rifling is in good condition. The trigger and action are tight and function properly. Please see photos for overall condition. From Donley’s Wild West Town Museum. Overall length: 10” S/N: 93807. C/R Eligible
