Description
This remarkable collection features four hand-carved and meticulously embellished Native American Kachina (Katsina) dolls, showcases of Southwestern indigenous artistry. The group includes a Zuni Buffalo Kachina signed by Gary Ohmsitte, a Hopi Mudhead drummer signed by Rosemary M., a White Bear Kachina, and a Sunface Kachina. Each figure is beautifully constructed from carved wood bases, dressed in genuine leather/hide garments, and accented with plush fur details, feathers, shell necklaces, and hand-painted traditional motifs. They display wonderfully with vivid colors and intact structural elements; expect minor natural shedding to the fur and feathers, along with light shelf wear on the wooden bases.
