Description

This collection is a true frontiersman’s time capsule, featuring a vintage buckskin leather jacket with heavy fringe detailing, a braided rawhide lariat with a leather-wrapped honda, and a classic leather holster with an integrated cartridge belt. The centerpiece is a John B. Stetson Company “3X Beaver” felt cowboy hat, originally sold at the historic Chase Department Store in Sturgis, South Dakota (established 1877). This hat features a distinctive “The Last Drop” liner illustration of a cowboy watering his horse. The buckskin jacket shows significant age-related wear, stiffness, and staining consistent with authentic use. The Stetson hat shows light soiling and minor fraying to the ribbon. The leather holster and belt exhibit heavy patina, cracking, and surface wear, while the rawhide lariat remains tightly braided with some drying. Jacket measured 31” tall. 19 across chest. Arms 18” long. Hat 6” across, 7.25” depth of sweatband. Belt 37” long x 3” tall, Holster 12”x6”. Lariat at least 40’ long. Please see photos.
