Description
This lot features an early acoustic-era brown wax cylinder record from circa 1898–1899, accompanied by a vintage paper insert identifying the contents as Columbia Record No. 7181, “The Girl I Loved in Sunny Tennessee,” sung by J. J. Fisher. The wax cylinder remains in stable condition with expected surface spotting, fading, and oxidation consistent with age but features no visible cracks or breaks.. H 4.5″, W 2.5″, D 2.5″.
