Description
Brown wax cylinder by Columbia Orchestra performing “Oriental Coon” (catalog number 15221 with a paper slip with handwritten dates of 1898-9. The wax cylinder is in stable condition with heavy surface mottling, mold spots, and minor rim wear, but shows no visible cracks or deep breaks;; the paper slip shows creases, toning, and light edge wear. Cylinder: H 4.25″, W 2.25″, D 2.25″. Container: H 4.5″, W 2.5″, D 2.5″. Please see photos for condition. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
