Description
Brown wax cylinder record with handwritten paper slips identifying the piece as a “Rochafeld & Hall Selection,” which includes the charming inscription, “You sound like a Phonograph.” Objectively, the cylinder is in stable condition with no visible breaks or cracks, though it shows typical surface wear, heavy age-related discoloration, and visible mold spotting. The enclosed paper slips are delicate, with one broken cleanly in two. H 4.25″, W 2.25″, D 2.25″. Please see photos for condition. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
