Description
Brown wax cylinder record includes a handwritten paper title slip reading “In a Rolling Mill.” This piece offers a fascinating glimpse into early recorded sound history, showcasing classic turn-of-the-century materials and packaging. Objectively, the item shows significant age-related wear: the wax cylinder exhibits a heavy layer of surface film and degradation, the cardboard container has prominent rim wear, paper loss, and lacks its top lid, and the handwritten note is deeply creased with tearing along the upper edge.
