Brown wax cylinder with paper slip insert noting “Vocal Selections by Geo. J. Gaskin” with a handwritten title. Objectively, the physical condition shows significant signs of age and wear; the wax cylinder exhibits extensive surface mold, cloudiness, and organic degradation typical of historic brown wax compositions, which will impact playback quality.
