Description
An oil on canvas from the nineteenth-century European School, depicting an interior scene with a family. This work is most likely a copy of an older, more famous work and is noted in the lower left corner as “after Schrader” and dated 1896. There is a T-shaped tear in the right center of the canvas measuring 7″ vertical by 4″ horizontal, a few minor paint chips around the edges, and darkening to the surface. The painting measures 29.5″H x 37.75″W and is housed in a newer picture frame, bringing the total dimensions to 34″H x 42″W.
