Description
These classic Campagnolo Vento road bike wheels are a fantastic piece of mid-90s cycling history, representing a sought-after era for road cycling enthusiasts. Often paired with legendary Italian steel or early aluminum frames like the Bottecchia road bike in lot 2173, these wheels are built with high-quality alloy rims and feature the distinctive styling that made them a favorite for training and early racing setups. This set includes the rear cassette, as pictured. Objectively, the wheels show signs of age-appropriate wear, including some cosmetic scuffs and expected oxidation on the alloy surfaces consistent with standard usage. The tires, marked as Maxxis Re-Fuse 700x23c, appear to have significant life remaining but should be inspected for rubber degradation due to storage.
