This is a classic Italian racing bicycle from the storied Bottecchia marque, representing a beautiful piece of mid-to-late 20th-century cycling heritage. The frame is adorned with decals celebrating “Campione del Mondo” (World Champion) status from 1966, alongside a decal indicating Italian championship wins from 1964 through 1967, reflecting the brand’s immense pedigree in the professional peloton. It features a steel frame, Weinmann Vainqueur 999 center-pull brakes, and appears to be paired with a Campagnolo wheelset featuring Vento rims. The bike is equipped with a vintage-style pump mounted to the frame and an Origin8 quill stem. The overall condition shows signs of age and use consistent with a vintage bicycle, including various scratches, paint chips, surface wear, and patina on the components.
