Description
This classic Italian racing bicycle is a stunning example of mid-1980s craftsmanship from the renowned Olmo brand, based in Celle Ligure, Italy. Featuring a Columbus steel frame, the “Team 85″ model embodies the elegant, utilitarian aesthetic of the era, complete with downtube shifters and a traditional geometry that collectors adore. The frame is finished in a clean, off-white hue with iconic Olmo branding and star decals on the fork crown, reflecting the period’s focus on high-performance steel cycles. Objectively, the bicycle shows expected signs of age, including some surface wear to the components and frame, and the tires are currently not holding air and remain untested; the mechanical components would benefit from a thorough servicing.
