This exceptional 1995 Schwinn Black Phantom is a highly collectible 100th Anniversary reproduction model, meticulously engineered by Schwinn to the exact specifications of their legendary 1950s cruiser. Limited to a production run of only 3,000 units in black, this cruiser features a robust electro-forged cantilever steel frame, glistening chrome-plated fenders, a chrome-trimmed tank with a built-in horn unit, a spring fork with a functional Cyclelock steering mechanism (complete with key), and a streamlined rear luggage carrier. Stamped with serial number Z3348XX on the bottom bracket, the bicycle is accompanied by an informative historical documentation packet (copies) detailing its limited dealer release. The piece is in superb aesthetic condition, showcasing vibrant black and red paint work that remains in pristine, showroom-quality condition with no notable chips or fading, complemented by bright, lustrous chrome; however, the original-style Schwinn Typhoon Cord whitewall tires exhibit prominent dry-rotting, cracking, and structural deterioration from long-term display, necessitating replacement before any road use.
