Description
Kinoplasticon was an early 3-D multi-media exhibition system popular between 1909 and 1914. It merged physical stage design with projected moving images and synchronized sound to create the illusion of three-dimensional, screenless performers standing directly on a stage. Invented by multimedia pioneer Theodore Brown and funded by film entrepreneur Charles Urban, the process gained notable popularity at the Scala Theatre in London around 1913. In overall excellent condition. Measures 6.25″ tall, 5″ wide. See photos. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
