Description

An exceptional offering of original turn-of-the-century advertising ephemera from the National Phonograph Co. of Orange, New Jersey, featuring a double-sided trade card and a multi-page promotional booklet titled “Edison Phonographs.” Both pieces swcase classic early 1900s typography, a portrait of Thomas A. Edison, his iconic trademark signature, and a listing of international offices spanning from New York to Berlin. The booklet is particularly desirable as its internal text is dated October1907 (Form No. 1135), as visible in image_3.png. Physically, both paper items are complete and remain in good condition with minimal wear; however, the double-sided trade card displays paper loss along the right edge of the portrait oval alongside a few creases, while the booklet shows light edge and corner wear consistent with age. H 6 1/8″, W 3.5″, D 0.1″. Please see photos for condition. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
