The Allen Koenigsberg Phonograph Collection
Lot 3426:
Description
This scarce lot of five original 1920s-era phonograph ephemera brochures and supplements was printed by Edison Bell Ltd. in London, England. A fascinating window into early 20th-century audio marketing, the multi-fold paper items include supplementary record lists for “Winner” and “V.F.” electric recordings featuring period British talent like Gwladys Naish and John Lovering, alongside a standalone “List Prices of New Edison Phonographs” sheet. As an expert collector of vintage music memorabilia, I find these to be highly desirable reference pieces documenting the transition to electrical recording technology. The items are in good overall condition, displaying expected minor handling wear, light edge creasing, and minor toning consistent with age, but remaining entirely intact and clean. H 7.5″, W 4.75″, D 0.1″. Please see photos for condition. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
