Description
This exceptional turn-of-the-century Mission-style oak cabinet features a highly specialized open shelving configuration engineered for early audio enthusiasts, utilizing a central vertical divider that splits the interior into fourteen total compartments—seven shelves on either side—ideally sized for storing phonograph cylinder records. The piece is constructed from solid oak with elegantly paneled sides, a subtle molded trim along the top and base, and an authentic tongue-and-groove plank back. Objectively, the cabinet is in good, structurally sound antique condition, exhibiting a beautifully aged patina with standard wear consistent with age and use, including surface scratches, water rings, localized scuffs, and a split running front-to-back across the top wood surface, along with minor abrasions along the shelf edges and base legs.
