This vintage early 20th-century advertising insert features the iconic “His Master’s Voice” artwork, depicting the beloved fox terrier Nipper listening intently to a Victor gramophone. Produced circa 1905 by the Victor Talking Machine Company of Philadelphia, the reverse side proudly boasts the company’s top honors won at the 1901 Pan-American Exposition and the 1904 St. Louis Exposition, urging consumers to “Look for the Dog” as a mark of unparalleled audio quality. Printed on paper, this double-sided promotional piece represents a foundational era in American sound recording marketing. The document shows minor edge and corner wear, light creasing along the bottom edge, and a faint pencil inscription reading “1905” on the reverse margin, it remains bright with excellent color preservation.
