Description
Oak cylinder top phonograph cabinet made by Hawthorne & Sheble as an aftermarket option for cylinder phonographs. This style of cabinet is most often associated with Columbia machines. In VG original finish condition, it features a locking cylinder roll top with no key, a serpentine top, and 8 drawers with carved shell pulls . Inside the drawers are wood record pegs for standard size cylinders. All the record drawers have locks but there is no key available. The opening in the top to inset a phonograph mechanism is 11.5″ wide, 6″ deep. There is no phonograph included. Overall measures 32.25″ wide, 24.75″ deep, 46″ tall.
