Description
Winchester Model 94 Lone Star Commemorative lever-action rifle Chambered in .30-30 caliber. Manufactured in 1970 to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Texas statehood, it features a bright brass-plated receiver with the left side engraved with a star and the dates “1845” and “1970” and the top tang marked with “UNDER SIX FLAGS”. The buttstock contains an inlaid gold-colored medallion depicting six prominent Texas heroes, including Stephen F. Austin and Sam Houston. This specific rifle has a 20-inch half-round, half-octagon barrel with a full-size tubular magazine. The gold-plated receiver finish is faded, and the barrel/magazine bluing is worn from use. Its walnut stock has a deep, dark finish that shows some small dings and scratches. Bore shows some freckling and the rifling is rounded. Mechanically, the action and trigger are tight and appear to function properly. Please see photos for overall condition. S/N: LS30903. C&R Eligible
