Description

Manufactured by the Rudolph Wurlitzer Company, North Tonawanda NY. Plays ten-tune APP music rolls. Case, carvings and screen are in very good condition. Does not play due to lack of vacuum and pressure. Will need some work. The front painting gave this Wurlitzer the Dancing Girls nickname. It has been professionally rebuilt by Don Stinson and per its tag, it is one of just 62 original Wurlitzer Calliolas. During the rebuild, Stinson developed patterns later used for approximately fifty additional Calliola’s he produced. Provenance notes indicate it came via Halfway and Bowers of California to a Michigan collector. In good restored condition with typical light handling wear. See video at https://youtu.be/hmU-zP1ZFVk
