Description
This pedestal-mounted coin-operated scale was manufactured in Dayton, Ohio. The unit features an Art Deco-style sunburst design on the front column and head, constructed of heavy cast iron. The item includes the original back plate, though the lock mechanism has been drilled out. While the coin-operated mechanism remains functional, the weight dial graphics are absent and require replacement. The device exhibits age-related cosmetic wear, including paint loss, surface oxidation, and fading typical of vintage commercial equipment. The display glass is intact and clear.
