Description
This impressive grouping consists of 8 authentic municipal-style enameled metal signs, including a large circular “DO NOT ENTER” sign, multiple “NO RIGHT TURN” and “NO LEFT TURN” pieces, and two “WRONG WAY” rectangular signs. Likely dating from the mid-to-late 20th century, these heavy-gauge metal signs feature the classic high-contrast block lettering and reflective coatings typical of Department of Transportation standards from that era. As a collector, I appreciate the genuine road-worn character found here; the signs exhibit a lived-in patina with surface scratches, minor paint loss, edge wear, and oxidation around the mounting holes, all of which confirm their historical field use.
