Description
These striking lanterns evoke a Mid-Century “Orientalia” aesthetic, featuring a classic hexagonal pagoda-style silhouette. The frames are constructed of metal with a weathered red finish, complemented by decorative twisted-rope corner posts and unique amber-colored “crinkle” or “pockmarked” glass panels that provide a warm, diffused glow. Each unit is equipped with a multi-bulb internal fixture. Given the construction style and the presence of other theatrical-scale props in the background, these likely served as high-end restaurant decor or film set pieces. The items are in poor to fair condition, showing significant surface dust, heavy oxidation and paint loss on the metal caps, several cracked or missing glass panes, and frayed or aging electrical wiring.
