Hollywood Blvd Cinema Memorabilia
Lot 1458:
Description
A remarkable piece of American Civil War history, this display features fifteen 2-inch iron grapeshot rounds found at the Gettysburg Battlefield. Arranged in a classic tiered pyramid, these heavy cast-iron projectiles exhibit the authentic pitted texture and varied oxidation—ranging from dark charcoal to patches of earthly rust—consistent with long-term burial in the Pennsylvania soil. The set is presented on a handsome, stepped walnut-finish wooden base adorned with a brass identification plaque. The iron rounds show expected heavy pitting and surface corrosion from age, while the wooden base remains in excellent condition with a high-gloss finish and minimal wear. H 6″, W 7″, D 7″. Please use photos to judge condition and bid accordingly. Please note: Buyer is responsible for removal. From the Hollywood Blvd. Cinemas Collection.
